Meet the Designer & The Studio

The Vision Behind Stanley Chapparosa Aerospace Concepts

Greg Stanley Chapparosa

Founder & Lead Concept Designer

Stanley Chapparosa Aerospace Concepts

Designing Tomorrows Spacecraft Today! The future has always fascinated me. Long before creating spacecraft concepts, I found myself asking a simple question: "If we were designing humanity's future today instead of inheriting yesterday's technology, what would we build?"

That question became the foundation of Stanley Chapparosa Aerospace Concepts.

Rather that approaching aerospace through traditional engineering alone, I approach it through systems thinking. Every concept begins by examining how people will live, work, travel, assemble, maintain, and expand beyond Earth over the coming decades. My goal is to create concepts that bridge imagination with practical thinking, inspiring discussion while remaining grounded in real engineering

principles and emerging technologies.

Design Philosophy
Science-Forward Concept Develop

Great spacecraft are more than beautiful renderings. They are complete systems.

Every Concept Developed by this studio begins with the same questions:

  • How is it launched?

  • How is it assembled in orbit?

  • How is it maintained over decades?

  • How can it evolve as technology advances?

  • How will people actually live and work inside of it?

  • What problems does this design solve for humanity?

By beginning with these questions, each project evolves from an artistic idea into a structured concept built around functionality, scalability, and long-term sustainability.

The objective is not to predict the future perfectly. The objective is to explore what may become possible when todays engineering is combined with tomorrows innovation.

Professional Background
Systems Thinking Through Operations & Analytics

My professional career has been built around analyzing complex operational systems, identifying opportunities for improvement, and transforming complicated processes into scalable, organized solutions.

Working in operation analytics has strengthened my ability to evaluate large systems, understand how independent components  interact, optimize workflows, and communicate complex ideas through clear visual structure. Those same disciplines naturally translate into conceptual spacecraft architecture, where every subsystem must contribute to a larger mission.

While Stanley Chapparosa Aerospace Concepts (SCAC) is an independent  concept studio rather than an engineering firm, every project is approached with systems-first mindset that emphasizes organization, modularity, practicality, and future adaptability.

Why I Create
Designing Beyond Today's Limitations

Every significant advancement  in aerospace began as an idea before it became engineering.

Orbital Stations....Reusable Rockets....Commercial Human Spaceflight....Lunar Exploration....

Each began as someone's vision of what could exist before the technology fully matured.

I believe concept development plays an important role in that process. By visualizing future spacecraft, orbital infrastructure, and long-duration habitats, concept designers help expand conversations about what humanity may eventually look like.

My goal is simple: To create concepts that encourage engineers, scientists, students, artists, and explorers to think one step further into the future.

Every Design Is Built Around Five Principles

Research

Every concept begins with studying current aerospace capabilities, emerging technologies, and realistic engineering pathways.

System Thinking

No Subsystem exists independently. Every decision influences the entire spacecraft.

Modularity

Future spacecraft should evolve rather than become obsolete.

Human-Centered Design

Technology should support the people living and working inside it.

Long-Term Vision

Design for where humanity is going, not only where we are today.

Studio Mission

Our Mission

Stanley Chapparosa Aerospace Concepts exists to explore the future of human spaceflight through research-driven conceptual design.

The studio develops original spacecraft, orbital habitats, and infrastructure concepts that encourage thoughtful discussion about humanity's next chapter beyond Earth.

Every project represents an opportunity to imagine, visualize, and communicate what future generations may one day build

My Favorite Quote:

"The future isn't discovered by accident. It's designed through curiosity, research, and the courage to imagine what comes next."
